The Money is Rolling In

I’m not striving to be a dot com mogul like some of the dot com G U R U S we’ve all heard about, but I’m really excited at all the dough that I have coming to me.

I can be a bit impulsive sometimes and a couple of weeks ago - on a whim - I registered a couple of domain names to be “Cash Parked”. Here, I’ll let them tell you how it works:

CashParking is a service that enables users to monetize their parked domains. Once you have associated your domains with your CashParking account, our advertising partner will place advertisements on your parked page(s). Each time a visitor accesses your page and clicks on a displayed advertisement, our advertising partner pays a certain amount for the clickthrough. That revenue is then passed on to us. Depending on your CashParking plan, you will receive 60%–80% of the generated revenue.

This online strategy is already paying dividends. I’ve earned a whopping $0.36US.

Cash Parking pales in comparison to what I also discovered from a link on Courtney Tuttle’s in depth blog, Make Money Online Free With Court.

Take a look:

My blog is worth $564.54.
How much is your blog worth?

Five Hundred & Sixty Four big ones. Jumping Junipers! I think I’m unto something. I didn’t think it would be this easy.

It’s kinda funny, G. I don’t fully understand the ways of the “blogging for dollars” valuation methods, but the site that I visited, http://www.business-opportunities.biz/projects/how-much-is-your-blog-worth/
uses a “link to dollar ratio as the AOL-Weblogs Inc deal.” - Yah, whatever.

So what does it mean? Is this money in your pocket?

I only wish. It’s only Monopoly money. You have to take a look at the real money makers who know how to parlay blogs into bucks. Click on each letter in G U R U S in the original post to take a look at some of the most successful sites. Enjoy, G.
