I’m simply amazed, I’m dazed.

I’ve only began actively reading blogs recently and I’m simply amazed at the verve with which bloggers attack their craft to deliver quality material.

Some bloggers admit that they are clearly motivated by profit but their posts are easy to digest and very informative.  Others deliver evocative gems of advice such that the reader can only pause and smile at its power and simplicity.  For example, earlier today, I read in someone’s “About Me” page, that he’s on this current path to profit after having read a life-changing blog entry.  That is powerful.  Preachers, Teachers and Parents used to have such power.  I guess bloggers are the new Rock Superstars.

I find myself smiling & nodding in agreement (yes, yes, you’re so right!) as I read an author’s daily update.  Why is that?  Is it because he/she has made some insightful points that dig deep and are a revelation to me? Or does the post seem so profoundly true and familiar on a subconscious level because it is a rehash of material I’d come across elsewhere and the ensuing vigorous and sustained debate assured me of its veracity?  Please don’t stone the naysayers that crop up from time to time debunking the RockStar’s post  - I reluctantly admit that we need the debunkers, even though they break the reverie induced by the post.

I already have my favourites and the “must read” list seems to be growing uncontrollably.   Why are they my favourites?  For instance, some of the same methods for making money online can be found on many, many sites.  Yet somehow, my faves have my full attention because something beyond their simple turns of phrase makes me want to follow their advice. Indeed, some of my faves were influenced by and still turn to their original sources for inspiration and in some cases, a fave has even supplanted the source as the resident expert of all things.

Well….I’m just sayin’
